With over 25 years of experience that spans industry, Doug is a seasoned business practitioner and certified security professional who helps companies meet their objectives for safe, secure and reliable operations while they address security risks that arise as Information Technology and Operational Technology systems converge. In his current role, Doug directs the operations and product portfolio for the SANS Industrials & Infrastructure (I&I) practice area. He also serves as a GIAC GICSP™ Executive Steering Committee Founding Member and active STI® ICS Security Advisory Board Member.  Previously, Doug was Vice President, Security Strategy for an industrial security software company, and also spent over 20 years at Rockwell Automation, most recently as the corporate Global Director of Product Security and Risk Management reporting to the Office of General Counsel. Doug is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), holds numerous international patents and is an accomplished writer, speaker, consultant and contributor to many global standards committees, and industry consortia.  He was recognized by The White House for his contributions to the execution of Executive Order 13636 and the development of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
